Jingle Of Bells Poem by Colin Ian Jeffery

Jingle Of Bells

Midnight hour chimes
All is quiet in the cold night air
When far off in the darkness
Comes sound of jingling bells.

Children are asleep and dreaming
Of Christmas morn with presents
Family and friends with love overwhelming
On bedside table a mince pie for Santa.

Urges his reindeer on above the town
Pulling sleigh laden with presents
With so many children to visit
Before his night's work is done.
