Jesus, The Great Gardener! Poem by Denis Martindale

Lord Jesus can see a garden and knows what must get done,
And it's like a Royal pardon when the gardening war gets won.
The trash gets cleared, then straight away, fresh flowers get their chance,
They blossom there, that very day, with beauty to enhance.
The fruit trees bring their bounty, too, and, yes, they taste so sweet.
The garden seats are brown and blue. The garden looks complete!

Lord Jesus prays a gentle prayer, and robins then draw near,
And sparrows fly across the air, to suddenly appear.
God blesses gardeners who believe in God's amazing grace!
God smiles at all we can achieve once love has taken place!
If I still had the strength and time to make my garden great,
I know that it would look sublime! I hope it's not too late!
