History and blood mingle together
For some people life and time stood still;
Terror strikes again
From whom, those who were hate-inspired;
To whom, the innocent as usual.
Who will heal the wounded? Who will ask
Why some people want to maim and then bask
In a kind of kinky glory
But all that is yet another story:
Families bear their loss with dignity
Jaipur will stand up and continue to live
Though it is hard to forget and forgive.
This poem is dedicated to Abha.
History and blood mingle together.................manificent imagery of the terrorism that happened by the serial blast in the pink city of Jaypur, most shoking fact of this century amidst the innocent people of city, earthly dusts when red by the oozing blood, cry still reverberates by the tears of those Godly souls across the whole country and beyond, men seem to unnerved by the sordid episode of mighty bombing out of sheer ill will of monster the killer giant, really painful living when shadowed by the glooms wrought by goons, yet poignant, .well penned as humanistic,10+, thanks for sharing sorrows of the city.
yes, Rani human spirit is amazing. very reslilient and dignified. rising from the ashesinspite of loss of family, stoically we go on.
Thank you so much for sharing the pain of the people of Jaipur. The people have been an example of immense courage and avoided the possible riots after the blasts…., yes, it is difficult to forgive and forget but the nerve of hatred would do no good. The road to non-violence should be adopted by all instead of this merciless agitation…. Thank once again, I am really moved by your lines and pray that all our efforts work towards healing the pains. Abha
This is a lovely poem for Abha, full of hope and how the people of Jaipur will unite and stand up for what is right, well done, Lynda xxx
