Ivory Towers Poem by shami giles

Ivory Towers

A silent hill
Alone with two towers
A Knight in his armor
With lovely magical powers
Appeared from the abyss
He is the one to show me what I’ve missed
A river of brilliance…
A heart only heard of in myths
These Ivory towers form colors That radiate from you
Blues, Purples, greens, and truths
This aura of you shows me your truths
With Ivory towers that intrigue me
With a heart of heaven and words that compel me
He takes my hand as our eyes subtly meet
The Images of our lips pressed together drown me
In a whimsical dance
This kiss showers me with the gold of the gods
This light you show is bittersweet
Our hearts slowly bind together and in the middle they meet
It is the memory of the knight that I want to keep
Every time he looks at me I start to feel weak
Until the heavens clouds start to open up he starts to speak
The Ivory towers images can never wash away
I still sometimes wonder if you will stay.
