Its All A Lie Poem by Felicity moore

Its All A Lie

She fooled all of her friends into thinking she’s so strong
But she still sleeps with the light on
And she acts like it’s all right on, as she smiles again
And her mother lies there sick with cancer
And her friends don’t understand her
She’s a question without answers
Who feels like falling apart.
She knows, she’s so much more than worthless
She needs to find a purpose,
She wonders what she did to deserve this

do you ever think about me and how i’m doing?
i mean what if i was dead or something?
you wouldn’t even know. you wouldn’t even care. just once
- i want to be hard to leave. i want someone to stay up all night and think of me;
prove to me that it’s true love felt; show me i’m more important than anyone else.

she smiles like everyone expects her to,
she’s living up to the expectation of never letting anything get to her.
but something’s wrong with that smile today. congratualtions, kid. you got to her.

You say I’m a horrible liar when I say I’m fine.
But when I really don’t want you to know, you’d be surprised at how many people I’ve tricked.

When she is silent, that’s when you know something’s wrong because she’s always the one to get in trouble for
talking to her friends,
telling secrets about the girl sitting across from her, and screaming I LOVE YOU in the halls.
So when she’s not talking, there’s a problem.

And tell your friends that everything’s alright but the truth is that your heart collapsed two years ago tonight.

It’s been exactly one year since I’ve seen your face.
But who’s counting? I just can’t let go.
You’re still a part of me. A part of everything I do.
I hope you would be proud of what I’ve become.
I miss you.

You have no idea what it’s like to be her with every day she becomes weaker.
She hides from her emotions, she cries because of her dreams.
So don’t say she has a perfect life, that’s just becasue she’s good at pretending.

i hope someday you’ll find all my quotes, all my words, and read them all.i hope you’ll
know that they’re about you, and when you
read them, i hope that at least a single tear
will run down your pretty face.
