It’s Time Poem by Gary James Smith

It’s time to close the book of complaints
And to open the book of praise
Time to meditate on the blessings we have
And have had in all our past days.

This is the way to be rejoicing my friends
Look Up and don't look within
Keep your eyes focused on Jesus the Lord
What greater victory, than over sin.

Soon will come a song, a praise to His name
Such will the Spirit bring near
Rejoice again I say, and again I say rejoice
For whom hold that salvation so dear!
