It's Only You Poem by Breanna Koelliker

It's Only You

You make me shake,
You make me lose focus,
You’ve made me stumble,

I can feel my heart do nothing but crumble,
It feels like you’re using it as a stepping stone,
So your cowboy boots don’t get muddy,

My heart can’t be put back together, not even with silly putty,
It just can’t be fixed,
I thank you for the pain,

I just hope she keeps the blood running through your veins,
I hope she makes you happy,
Because you’ve proven to me that I’m not even worth your while,

I just hope she's worth your hypocritical smile,
I can’t tell you that you’ve hurt me,
There’s no way I can cry,

All I can do is simply tell you goodbye,
Don’t forget to remember me,
And have a good journey while you’re gone,

I’ll just listen to silly little “love” songs,
I’ll be fine eventually,
And I’ll see you in the long run,

I’ll be in the sun,
Thinking of you,
With your face circling through my mind,

I guess you weren’t the one I was supposed to find,
Listening to your voice,
I wish you were here,

Every moment in the stir,
I miss you,
Please tell me how it feels?
