It's Hard Waiting To Be First
Many have been taught that the Lord said...
The first shall be last and the last first.
Sometimes it's hard waiting
and you feel your always cursed
Murphy's Law just hangs around
In one moment it drops on you
You can't seem to keep above water
no matter what you do
I keep praying to the Lord
because I know I'm in last place
but it's hard to sit and wait
for the sweetness I long to taste
