It's been too long since I've breathed in fresh air.
It's been too long since I have dared
to put myself out there, but
how can I see the world if I am not prepared
to take a step out there?

It's been too long since I have watched the moonrise
or seen sirius's light as it rises into the night, but
what goes it it being alive
if you can never say goodnight to the sun
and hello to the night?

It's been too long since I've changed these old
worn out clothes and run a comb through my hair, but
what go is it to look great
when your only looking at yourself
as you sit in your chair?
