It Keeps Winning Poem by Ming (Cody)

It Keeps Winning

No matter how hard I try, I can't stop it,
It keeps coming, it won't stop.
No matter how hard I fight, I always lose,
It keeps fighting, it won't give in.
No matter how nice i try to be, I always get stepped on,
It keeps shoving, it keeps insulting.
No matter how appealing I try to be, I'm still ugly on the inside,
It keeps hurting, it keeps going.
No matter how much I wish I could leave,
It keeps holding me back, it keeps shoving me back.
No matter how much I love,
It keeps hating me, it keeps making me hate.
It keeps winning.
