Is What We Have Worth Fighting For? Poem by GHOST WRITER

Is What We Have Worth Fighting For?

My feeling toward you grow stronger as each day passes
I long for your company
But still happy for time on my own
I find myself waiting for your call and your visit
I enjoy my own space
Time to be me and let go
Yet I find myself longing for more

You’re constraints add difficulty
Which I am happy to bear
But for how long
I ask myself.
As time goes by
Enjoying curling up in your arms
Yet longing for it to last for the night
I wonder how you feel
What you must be going through
Wondering if what we have is worth fighting for
And if this is it, can we make it work
Amongst all the obstacles in our way...
