The Lord reveals why countries war
Why people kill and lie
Why still we fail to keep God’s law
And why we all must die

Spiritual drought in every land
Pestilence, waste, decay
Better if man would understand
Repent and walk God’s way

God chastens man that he may learn
That sin brings death and ill
Yet peace and life to those who turn
To do His perfect will

God’s Spirit comes to show the way
To lift up Jesus’ name
To guide and help who’ve gone astray
Convicting us of shame

There’s no excuse once truth is seen
Once man has seen the Light
The Christ, The Door, God’s Go Between
The Father’s Great Delight

The One who died, is Lord of all
He cleanses every stain
Through Him, no child will ever fail
If in Him, they remain

There’ll be no end to human grief
Whilst man remains in crime
From God he’ll find no swift relief
Until the end of time

The Door to life’s still open wide
Through Christ is man’s reprieve
The choice is ours to walk inside
Who through God’s grace, believe…
