Iron Out, Cat In Poem by Ima Ryma

Iron Out, Cat In

Monopoly tokens took form
From a charm bracelet of the niece
Of the game creator, and norm
Decades of playing piece to piece.
But powers that be of the game
Decided that a change was due.
One of the pieces with past fame
Would be out and in something new.
Of new choices, a vote was cast,
And a cat won the chance to play.
And poor old iron ironed into past,
Collectors' item on eBay.

Some say the new cat was a fix
In from Super PAC, Meow Mix.
