Iraqi Bound
you left today
back to iraq
you took my heart
in that damn pack
i tried so hard
not to cry
but i felt like..........
i was dying inside
your on the plane
your flying high
and all i can do
is sit and cry
i fell in love
before you came
and now today
i feel the same
the love inside
beats hard and strong
i'll wait for you
no matter how long
be safe my love
come back to me
so this heart of mine
can finally be free
this poem rveals how patient and courageous the poet is. She, may be pushes her lover, how is a soldier in Iraq to resist and fight and forget her until her joins her as a hero.
