Invisible Pain Poem by The Poet In Pain

Invisible Pain

Rating: 4.6

There you are, walking down the hall
You turn my way, but walk right past
I keep walking like nothing happened at all
Though in my mind, I wish this breath is my last
Knowing you dont give me a spare thought
Nothing more then a passing glance
To be seen by you is all I want
I always watch you, my gaze ascance
I know that you can never be mine
Always out of my reach, but ever so close
With this knowledge, i know I can never be fine
My pain pouring out, the shade of a rose
My sorrow fading with a crimson rain
Letting the cold darkness overcome my pain...

Technically speaking, this is an excellent poem, well written and good flow. The content is touching and innocent, how lovely to hear the thoughts of the young, certainly brings back memories. I remember those days, I believe I was the other person that someone thought they could never have when all the while my thoughts were the same as there's. One must learn to read the language of the body, the twinkle of the eyes and the slight subtle smiles. How wonderful it is to grow old with the fabulous memories of youth. Keep writing my young friend.----Melvina
