I planted a seed
Beyond what the eyes could see,
Into the ground I buried it,
Providing the vital things it needs.

I planted a seed,
As roots spread beneath the ground,
And its head strives above the surface,
Only then can one know where I planted it.

I planted a seed,
A seed which became a tree,
Destined to be everything it could be,
Producing fruit in due season,
Providing the vital things I need.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This poem talks about dreams. keep working on your dreams, as one spends time watering his seeds. Surely, the seeds will not grow in an instant but as time goes on and you give it the vital things it needs such as the sun and water. Someday that seed would become a tree, a source of food and a resource to everything around you. So are your dreams, work on it and you can achieve it.
