Into The Light Poem by noel maddock

Into The Light

You burst from watered roots
Karmic seeds sprouting wings of supplication
My existential chanting up your appearance
On a Sunday afternoon pulsing in the rutting heat
You gave me a name, an address and a handshake kiss

Today I am rebellowing
Announcing to a drowsy world
Owning you purely for untiring feeling
The gaps between the thoughts expand
And echo as expected
And I’m clinging, and yes I know only too well,
To the truth that I did not detect in your eyes
