Into The Black Of Never Poem by Spiritwind Wood

Into The Black Of Never

I looked in the eye's of a stranger
to find out he was only me
staring back through a mirror
at what once use to be

I saw inside myself a bleeding soul
images that come in much clearer
of what I could not let go

The pain I felt from long ago
seemed to have remained forever
from a past I found hard to control
through tears I could only show

My heart blinded to all I see
into the black of never
was the only place I would know
as darkness drew nearer

Inside of miseries cage
I fed the hunger of my rage
turning a chapter of another page
into the black of never
