Interlaced Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Interlaced

Interlaced
In the warps
Of my life
Are the wefts
Of memories alive
Faces and places
Of all the phases
Untamed love
Unrequited crazes

And I do cherish
This stole
Full of blemish
The protective guard
Runs in many yards.

Emerging patterns
Repetitive lessons
Tales of all the battles
From time I played
With rattles
Stories yet untold
Played so many roles

Again I stand alone
On vantage point
Unknown
Nalini
