Integrity Poem by Victor Okechukwu Anyaegbuna

Integrity

In the now strange woods of warring angels
Nurtured from the cradle of vise-like grips,
The slipping virtues of awe strike delight;
Endangered in mottled sufferings that blight;
Garnered by tainted gods defying honour;
Reassured by strength of will and great valour,
In the robust canines of temptations;
Trailing loyalty along harsh terrains,
Yet rising victorious in God's vineyard.
