Instructions Poem by Quinn Graw

Instructions

Instructions to die
after you spent the life force
hopefully without a divorce.
Take risks, stick your neck out
or what is the use
of taking life's abuse?
Instructions to live
by fifty if you have nothing left to give
pack it all in
this life is a full sin
wasted oxygen and nutrients
a neighbour died at eighty
lived a full life with a proud legacy.
Instructions left behind
live first, change with each season's thirsts.
