Inspiration Poem by Hannah Shier

Inspiration

What're we doing?
We're all just blending in with the crowd.
We talk how they talk.
We walk how they walk.
We mock what they mock - be it even our own brothers or sisters.
We dress how they dress.
We think what they think.
We live how they live -
We have been called to do something greater
than the trash we're doing now.
Something that's worth it.
Something that has purpose.
Something that you could put your whole into -
your heart, mind, body, and soul into -
and never feel regret in the end.
And yet, we ignore our calling.
Our Father's hand reaches down to us
and we push it away.
We're content in the sin we're drowning in...
Oh, such fools we are.
Oh, what fools we are.
