Insist On Insisting Poem by Kenzie Forrester

Insist On Insisting

Rating: 5.0

if I gave you my heart,
while it was still beating.
Would you give me yours,
or insist on leaving?

If I said that I love you,
and it was my true meaning.
Would you say it back,
or insist on regreting?

If I asked you to be mine,
Forever and Always.
Would you hold me tight,
or insist on being alone?

If I stopped you from hurting,
and never let it happen again.
Would you take my pain away
or insist on betraying me?

If I promised to be true only to you,
would you be, too?

If you would give, say, hold, and comfort me, I will always be only yours for all my days on Earth and eternity after death.
