Inside us we carry that parallel self
A burial vault without any delf
A little prick wakes up that oppressive pain
Buried deep in past with lots of strain
Ugly regrets which weren't ones fault
Nothingness exaggerated, life craving a halt
The feeling of lone & lost thing
One trusted most, damage the life string
Taking relations sensitivity, always forgranted
Something and some words, just couldn't be supplanted
Left behind is the mirror with a crack
Which magnifies self, one less shiny… other very black.
Thanks Indira and Hans. @Indira its good to hear that u can relate, I think things very personal to us are the ones very universal :) . @Hans I beleieve pains/regrets one carries are his best teachers along with time. Thanks for the kind words :)
True enough, Samima, each of us carry with us a darker side. But inside each of us is also that wondeful beautiful soul, that allows us to lead a spiritual life. I hope and pray, Samima that you may find your soul, which can truly help us master our darker side. Good poem, nice rhymes..
