Inscrutable Poem by Nicole Anne Sia

Inscrutable

How do we grasp the depth of the deep?
How do we climb the steps of the steep?
How do we say the words of the wise?
How do we break the fake of the lies?

Is the worth of our effort worth our fate?
Is the chance of our rights chance by mistake?
Is the friend of our family friend of the enemy?
Is the death of our loved death of reality?

Try to ponder, try to wonder.
Simple queries may root to another.
Question authority, question majority.
But has your problem been deciphered by any?

Our world so vast, our questions unfathomable;
How do we answer the questions inexplicable?
Asking ourselves the intense and impossible
Wandering in a world that is rather inscrutable.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Written in 2014. I wrote this because there is so much one has yet to explore in this world. Asking one thing may root to another question. Nothing can be truly explained.
