Inner Sanctum Poem by Jonathan B,,

Inner Sanctum

Rating: 1.5

hello old friend,
I'm staring at the sky,
hasten to see you again,
when the sun drowns dry.

crawling near me, I sense,
shades melting to fit me, I feel,
prying to shatter open wide,
my fractured soul's envelope.

Standing still, righteously begging,
your grim reach to quench my pain,
freezing me deep solid, numbing immolation,
drifting away, oh please recover me whole.

oh come, silence me,
cover my eyes, blind me,
i'll wait patiently, i'll wait...
for you....darkness, to consume me.
