Inner Dragon Poem by Wiley Wildcard

Inner Dragon

Rating: 4.5

In us all there lies a beast
For some it is seen the least,
But for others we set it free.
Saying is that how it’s going to be

I've seen mine a time or two;
What it was no one knew.
It’s wings were spread claws were out
Rage did fill me no doubt.

In truth I still can feel the scale,
And the way it moved it’s tail.
I cannot lie the beast is me
The inner Dragon that I set free.

Contain yourself lest it will take you
Your rage will grow,
And a beast you’ll be.
The one inside will roam free.

We all have the beast, some keep it well and truly hidden, and some as you say let it out. A great poem.
