Infatuation And Love … 1110-2k12

Say? Infatuation silver! And Love gold
Just A hop away from being too bold

Shall we sift feelings from puppy love?
Crooning from coo of a smitten dove?

One short lived and at the edges rough
One ever searching buried cues of bluff

Being swept off ones feet, carried away
Or softly in the breeze like gossamer sway

Are just phases of a moon in silence such
One hedonistic, the other tick tock crutch

Like two goldfish in bowls side by side
The other flip; where they as one reside

What I may say or like to here express
In the end really matters so much less

Venus wearing a torrid sensuous glove
Or aurorally aglow from heavens above

Yet alive many seek in humility HIS bless
Sealed envelope with God's eternal address

Sigh! On some one be completely sold!
Hark! Hurtful to be so audaciously told!

Two closely related ideas are wonderfully juxtaposed through vivid and vivacious metaphors, similes and images. They are not over-wrought but emerge naturally with the flow of thought. Philosophy of love is delved deep. 'Venus wearing a torrid sensuous glove Or aurorally aglow from heavens above ... beautiful and masterly personification
