Infallible Poem by Adedolapo Olisa

Infallible

Take a word away-just take the whole away
the word so intense in ilumination
why else would I not be a Christian?
explanation to asked and to be asked all answered by the owner
the key to mystery but not just so available
the spirit of God hovers waiting for the request
why not ask instead of lying in pride
lies always triumph but for a period
never lingers till eternity
when the lie is so well thought out, the eventual fall is much from higher
integrity? is it from being source of diversity or author of confusion
So much pleasing aroma like no other
when I plunge into the only true source of history
but not as pleasing is it that a book speaks to me
now I can see- the similarity between the spiritual and natural
vividly painted in black and whites and sometimes red
bread of life, purging blood, paths' lamp, everything good yet nothing evil
the word that became flesh- the answer to mysteries.
Jesus = the Bible = the Word of God
don't take a word away - nor dilute the concentrate
Holy Spirit = the key
kill your pride and born a will that knowledge be given unto thee
