Indispensable Fear Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Indispensable Fear

God's combing through every nation
Eternal life to share
Where hearts seek for salvation
One's burdened soul to bear

Could you perhaps be one of these?
Could death be on your mind?
God can be found on bended knees
Mysteries to unwind

For eyes to see, ears hear
Lost souls to comprehend
What causes man's daunting fear?
As life nears its end

Fear's crucial, to sing life's song
Vital as breathing air
Made evident when something's wrong
Oft mounting in despair

Guilt's the venue, one's guiding source
Deep in one's bowels to sense
Only the fact, showing remorse
Produces recompense

Where truths educational love
Wisdom is swift to learn
Authority, fearing above
One surely must discern

God does nothing without intent
While engineering love
From sin and shame man must repent
Peace to reign from above

Give truth a try when guilty next
Perhaps you may agree
Rather than God or someone's vexed
Try an apology.....
