Indicted Poem by Arich Cole

Indicted

Indicted by the lady on my heart, constant restraint is what kept you apart, afar from giving in to me.
Good man is what you claimed you wanted but the chill of him actually presenting himself, sent you in denile of what's to come which doubted our union from the start.
Heart ache is not what has come to me but a shame that's all, not given the chance to bring a queen to a ball.
Instead put to death by the apprehensive mind of a woman,
its not her to blame simply the nature born from the beginning of time.
Would I be wrong for missing the judge that has set my trial, am I wrong for the feelings while I walk this green mile.
Well I'm taking this time I was delt, good behavior maybe I have parole maybe some day you'll spare my soul.
