Indian Gulf Life Poem by Nazneen Kabir Hassan

At first married women in gulf,
Search for a suitable secure job,
Rest of them as housewives,
Busy inviting guests at home to dine,
Spend time chatting, metting women
At gathering, partying, sharing,
Caring one another....
Working women busy at work,
Don't have enough of time to spare,
Order ready made food., hire maid,
Or sometimes cook...
Year or two comes the family life
They continue or discontinue at work,
While women at home can be devoted mothers,
Taking care of kids, sending them to school,
in the early hours of the day....
Men busy at their schedule work
look after their families well,
Weekends have gala time in the parks, hotels,
Or get engaged in social groups, whatsapp, Facebook,
Kids obedient, sincere at studies.
Loyal to teachers and school
Mostly come out with flying colours..
At home kids are seen watching. TV , video games, gadgets.....
Remembering parents, relative, cousins, and friends,
Come home land yearly to enjoy holidays...
Kids grown up after schooling go places for further studied....
Parents may or may not join them...
Years after years stay at gulf reminds life back home come to settle...
With required wealth that serve as their means of livelihood
Hence happy forever to rest of their life....
