India Poem by spiritual seeker

India

Rating: 2.8

In this historical land of Moghuls and Rajah,
The trodden and untouchable,
The Gurus and Sanyasi,
The epics of Ramayana and Mahabharata,
Love in Taj Mahal and kamasutra,
Pure white snow and majestic mountains,
Dry desert and fertile valleys,
Golden rice fields and swaying coconut trees,
Here flows the majestic Ganges.
I now swim in this spiritual river,
to quench this insatiable thirst, of a lonely traveller.
