In Twilight Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

In Twilight

In twilight
Though
Over the bastions
There was a short chill
Beginning
Yet
Here in the waters
There's a warmth
Coming
From the Geyser of the Centuries
Humans go away!
You carry a century
More or less
Unless
Otherwise engineered
And that's
As now suspended!
