In times of discouragement Poem by Edward Lewis Davison

In times of discouragement

Rating: 4.0

Night blackens to the core. Poet, awake!
The worst, the darkest hour of your heart's ache
Begins...
So keep your little inch of that great field
Where Shelley fought and died, and never yield:
Let your short sword the little while it shine
Strike at the army of the Philistines.
