In Time Wind Poem by Robin Johnson

In Time Wind

Sitting by sea looking out, at the stars reflecting off ocean

Pondering light

How long it would take for the light of a single star to make it way to our fair little plant

To sit, thinking of time, space and to wonder of how long it would take to go there

To wonder of life, and how might be on other worlds

Do they look like us

Do they talk like us

Do they war like us

Are they like us, maybe their insect, aquatic, avian, saurian, plant, or maybe even techno organic

To sit and wonder if on anther world there might be some thinking as I am, wondering of life on other as I am

Sitting looking out on to the ocean of space and feeling the winds of time against thine own face

Where are you going and how are going to get there
