Headache Poem by Robin Johnson

Headache

Blistering pain and an absent mind
The aching of echo’s upon the minds of thought
As a thy eye’s look with splintering pain

When will it all go away
When will this incessant and unyielding pain stop
When will I know piece again

To kill the pain
If only for moment
A second, a minuet, a day

Oh how I’ve dreamed of that day
To be free the pain

Free to live

Free to love

Free to die

But that will never be
This pain is my punishment for doing something ill to someone
And I don’t even remember who

It’s so cold
