In This Jumble Poem by Damilare Tella

In This Jumble

Rating: 5.0

I want to grow into a man
They say I must
He beacons at every break of dawn
But the boy within is scared
His chorus of tears echoes in my core

I wish I could explain to the world
But, for its nescience
Tis lost in its 'glorious' self

If only the boy can hear my plea
But, for his deafness
If only the man can see my plight
But, for his blindness

I'm lost in this jumble
Should I end this horror? Should I take my life?
But what other horror awaits on the other side?

You will one day look back at your life's achievements in amazement. Time flies fast. Be safe.

A well expressed poem. Poignant and thought provoking closure lines.
