In The Wrap Of Lie Poem by Arijit Kar

In The Wrap Of Lie

Never found, inside the package
The unsaid heart, that is yours.
In thy room springe fragrance in rain
Your golden chariot made of iron
Your blaze, your society, crying of you
Just jealousness, forgive not thou
Vaster speeches, defeat the blue oceans
The expressing love, violent inside, truth.

All of them, not only one, maddy violence
Spreading smell is hot breath, blur
The last kneel, accepted, come out not
In the boat of death, never be back
Swamp in island, you hide, grab
Sea roars, your boat comes, he sinks.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
‘In The Wrap of Lie’ Analysis

In the poem “In The wrap of Lie” the poet tells us about a packet or a package of something the main female protagonist of the poem holds which is fulfilled by lies. Here the heart of the female protagonist does not say anything but she does as many as she can. In her room the fragrance of spring season can be found in the rainy season. Here the metaphor spring is meaningful and thus the poet says her capability to take the men in her room for all the seasons of the year. The colour of her chariot is golden but it is made of iron, makes us understand that she is not such as good as she looks like or whatever she shows. The proverb ‘all that glitters is not gold’ is true here. The poet says about her society where in one side she cries but on the other side her blaze can burn anything. It is her jealousness, only the jealousness of her, she thinks herself mighty that is why it is the poet’s plea that she should not be forgiven. Her speech is as vaster as it defeats the vastness of all blue oceans. And in the last line of the first para the poet says the love she expresses for her men are really the love of violence. It is the real truth according to the poet. The poet thinks the men who go to her for bodily pleasure may not be aware about the violent nature of her, but the poet is totally alert about this.
In the second paragraph where the poet says in the very first sentence of it that, there is not only one that caught in her trap, but many and her violence has been compared with a madly violence. The smell she spreads, for catching different men up is her hot breath and that is not transparent, is blur. So that the persons can’t understand anything and keep their leg ahead towards the air of danger she has. Here the poet says about a person who kneeled to her for accepting his love by not understanding her violence, was accepted; but the person could not come out next from the trap of her. And whoever it is, if once caught by the trap, he becomes the voyager of such a boat which sails towards the land of death and does not come again back. She also hides in the swamp, which is situated on the island, to catch the noble man, who shows affection for her by the greatest mistake of their lives. Here she is compared with the beast as we know about the beasts, that they hide in swamp nearby the shore to grab their food. Lastly the poet concludes by saying that, when the sea roars, the sea water comes into nearby swamp, the island overflows, then her boat comes. May she arranges it for the situation and she leaves the person, the essence of whom has already been taken by her, the juice has been extracted also. She takes her boat alone, flee alone from there and the helpless person whom she leaves, sinks and dies at once.
