In The Sails Of Her Eye Poem by Kewayne Wadley

In The Sails Of Her Eye

Rating: 5.0

The taste of your eyes wet the senses
How vast those hazelnut spheres glow
As they whisper without a care
The lonely sound of the air filled the air
The sails whipped as they tightened against its caress
A noise of reassurance
Calm as the waters that splashed as an angels song
Sweet sounds that came & left
The sails moaned as they met the coming wind
Sweet
gentle
The clouds soft and far darted towards the sun
Some of their bodies parted only to find their selves again
Slowly the heavens became mute
Falling asleep to the calming hush of the oceans that surround us
Falling asleep to the gentle hush of your eye
