In The Moment
The first time I saw the man
T'was a sultry day.
I never dreamt we'd be on stage
Together.
It was what I wanted,
What I desired,
And what will elude me
in reality.
His adoring gaze
Rests upon me now,
In the moment,
But when the moment has passed,
He will look no more.
T'will be a secret affair of my heart,
For I shall never speak of
The desire that I've felt.
