In Struggles Poem by David Harris

In Struggles

Rating: 5.0

Some roads are long and weary
with plenty of troubles to get through;
sometimes it seems there is no end in sight.
Our self-esteem is failing
along every lonely mile we walk
and the only thing that can help us
comes from within.
We must say to ourselves
we can beat this
and throw caution to the wind,
keep soldiering on until the end.
The weariness will wear away
and the road will become shorter too,
then we will again see happier days.
