In Some Of The Nice People Poem by Francis Duggan

In Some Of The Nice People

I have been rather lucky in truth one can say
In some of the nice people i meet with every day
People who bring me some joy in truth of them i can say
With a cheerful hello as they go on their way
Wherever you are in the park or on the street
Nice people are always a pleasure to meet
Moody people are never a pleasure to know
Since they are lacking in the inner glow
Where happy people are joy always abound
As they bring it with them and share it around
A smile and cheerful greeting to a stranger does not cost one a thing
Of the praises of happy people i feel happy to sing
Laugh and the whole World does laugh with you
Is something that only happens to be true.
