In Search Of Comma Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

In Search Of Comma

Rating: 5.0

Life may be but a comma
In a rambling long sentence,
But change it nigh, here to there
And change the meaning and sense
Of the entire life;
Man ponders long on this change,
And there comes a full stop, rife
With many unknowns, how strange!

Grammarians would tell us: change the place of a comma in a sentence, and change its entire meaning. This life also is a comma. Change it, and change the meaning of the long cycle of its sentence. Yet, before this happens, there happens a full stop!

In Search of an illusive comma... WE spend whole life pursuing something, not stopping a (a comma) , pondering to see if we are on the right course, and then one day find that it is too late...and we make more or less the same mistake in the following life...and this way alas the journey goes on.
