In Night, Come With Me Poem by Sara Jo Andrews

In Night, Come With Me

On this dark and shadowy night,
Come with me little one,
Fly and be one with the night,
I won’t bite, I promise, at least not yet
If I do, it’ll only hurt for a bit,
Then you’ll be one with me and the night,
Come little one fly with me,
Your soul belongs to me.
Hide your fears and brace the sky.
I open my wings,
Welcoming you,
An invitation to the darkness,
Come and share my loneliness with me,
The night is ours forever,
Just one bite, then forever
You’ll be mine, one with the darkness
One with the night
Forever we’ll fly
Come with me little one…
