In My World, Poetry Wins Poem by Sandra Feldman

In My World, Poetry Wins

Rating: 5.0

I am not one to be enamored
With all or everything,
Poetically written,
But when it happens
And I'm poetically smitten
With feelings that are written,
Forever in my heart,
That poem stays
And each time I read it,
In heavenly rapture,
My heart sways.
A sort of love-story,
Like when someone prays.

Wonderful expression of a poet's heart and soul. This creates an overpowering divine feeling. Forever in my heart / That poem stays /....My heart sways.

I saw an unusual image in my mind as I read your poem: a child on a swing gently swinging back and forth. completely at peace and happy. And I thought of the nexus of poetry + innocence, but also poetry + experience, and the wholeness of life that childhood symbolizes and poetry expresses.

Everything written poetically by God's grace is nice. Heart sway a sort of love-story. This is really very beautiful. Expressing spiritual feelings about poetic life is nice. Excellently penned poem is shared...10
