In Memory Of Her..

She was just like an angel,
And now she has become a real angel.
She was a dynamic lady,
And so lively..

She had glisten in her eyes,
Supported and took care of all children's cries..
She was a sacrosanct for us,
But Alas, everything turns to dust..

Slowly she went to her slumber,
Her existence is becoming blur,
But I won't let anyone ever forget about her,
So here I speak In Memory Of Her...

She was a blithe,
But now suddenly she vanished,
She was and will be venerable.
In our hearts, she is indestructible..

Here I present a vignette,
But this is just a snippet
Of what she was; something which can't be explained.
Without her everything is so rearranged..

Slowly she went to her slumber,
Her existence is becoming blur,
She will be remembered forever,
Because here I speak In Memory Of Her....

Poet's Notes about The Poem

This poem is dedicated to my old principal Usha Kiran. She was the principal when I went to my new school the first time. She was so warm welcoming. I don't know much about her because she left the school. She had cancer. She expired recently. She pampered me so much. She was the nicest lady I had ever met This poem is just a little something about her, for her...I'll always remember you...

Poem of the Day

poet Li Po

Amongst the flowers I
am alone with my pot of wine
drinking by myself; then lifting
my cup I asked the moon
to drink with me, its reflection
and mine in the wine cup, just
