In Memory Of Aylan Poem by Idris El Asha

In Memory Of Aylan

Rating: 5.0

Lapped out by the sea
no lap to protect you.
Lying on the sand of the shore.
Alone.
No one to embrace you.
As if the water of the sea
is your tears
shed on us.
Keeping your shoes on
instead of pelting us with
in contempt.

Very poignant scene has been created by the poet. It brings shame on humanity. Look at the irony: Keeping on your shoes instead of pelting us with in contempt.
