In Love's Essence Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

In Love's Essence

In the quiet night
I hear your whispered sweet love,
Your midnight song, warming me
Like a soft blanket;
Your smile at sunrise spreads over me
As we cuddle in ardent embrace.
Our love is true in heart, in mind.
