In Its Time Poem by DANIEL Ikuyajolu

In Its Time

Yesterday, on the plane
I was so much despondent,
Because I found my hope a bit on the edge,
Issues of life transported me,
To the wilderness of confusion,
My eyes were closed in grief,
My heart saw a never ending sadness,
My legs couldn't travel beyond
There was a road block
Tears dropping from eyes
My mouth too heavy to alter a word
Hand became incapacitated,
Yet a voice within amidst my troubles,
Saying Dan if thou faint on this day,
Your strength is small,
Quikly I reluctantly saw beyond
That has brought me to this land called fulfilment...
Dare to listen to that voice echoing possibility
